Graphic design and graphic arts are a combination of visual communication, page layout and the artistic use of typography to craft the aesthetic quality of the design. Illustration can be found in typography, logo design, creation of page elements and page layout. The creativity of typography and illustration are found not only indoors, but in outdoor advertising, as well. Signs, billboards, murals, transit stations and vehicles are only some of the places where we see on exhibit, the visual communication of outdoor advertising. Print Media, Graphic Design Layout, Art Concept & Effects

Graphic arts although certainly full of creativity, also includes logic. Both right brain and left brain processes are employed in identifying a concept and designing the structure of the layout. We see the logic of concept and layout in various forms of print media every day; exemplified by postcards, flyers, brochures, reports, displays and more.
