		<description>John ...  From a marketing standpoint, the people who spam or use spam bots to spam blogs are not going to boost their rankings and certainly not going to boost their inbound links. They would do well to read a blog post and post something responsive. That way, their posts would not get disapproved as SPAM.  Since I wrote that post, I have since installed the Askimet Plug-In; which will cut down on the amount of SPAM coming in.</description>
